Controversial fannish opinions: Seven-Ace and S25-6 in general are the all-time peak of Doctor Who, and Rose Tyler is in the Third Division of companions judged on just about all factors. Spike was a subhumanly evil piece of shit from Get It Done until Shells and Lies My Parents Told Me is the second most morally contemptible episode of a usually decent serial ever (after Power). Yes, Gene Hunt is a bigot and a brutally unprofessional cop.
